Today was the long drive from Austin to Roswell, New Mexico

These horrible oil rigs are all over west Texas. They're slow moving pendulum like machines. They're kind of creepy. 

On another note we saw many wind turbines along the way. I don't think I've ever seen them before. 

West Texas is so picturesque. It's littered with old broke down buildings and cacti along the highway.

Moving into New Mexico I saw a sign for a state park. I had no idea it was going to be this beautiful. I'm glad we stopped.
