New Mexico to Arizona

Today we met up with one of Wes's friends, Elizabeth, in the small town of Gallup, NM

This is a size reference. This is our attempt to take down a huge sopapita - a mixture of Native American and Mexican food.

Elizabeth was such a great host. She droves us out to the Red Rock state park. We hiked a small way up to take pictures and soak in the view. It couldn't have been better weather.

After we stopped by a historical hotel on Route 66 to look inside. Many famous people have stayed here over time.

Lucille Ball stayed in this room!

I forgot to post these last night. We statyed at Katie and Alex's house for a night and drank some local beers. Great times!

We checked out the New Mexico version of Kroger. Here's an example of the chili culture out here. It's huge!

Today's Journey. Tomorrow, the Grand Canyon!!
