Traveling Through Louisiana

Today was mostly "explore Louisiana day". 

First we drove down to the French Quater and St. Charles Ave

It was so exciting to see beads hanging off the trees. 

Then we explored canals and bayous 

This was inevitable. You would have done the same.

We visited the famous Oak Alley Plantation. They were hosting a wedding so we couldn't walk around much.

A map of our travels. As you can see we dipped into Florida hoping to ride the ferry across Mobile Bay. Unfortunately we got there 10 minutes late.
